I'd roll the dice on Exum at 4 if he is still on the board. I know Orlando fans want to grab him since they believe he is like the second coming of Penny Hardaway. At 23, it might be traded to move up or for a veteran. 35 is draft euro and stash.
 
Exum says he wants to play point, is Trey someone who we say "He is too good to draft someone else at his position"? No. If you believe Exum is the BPA and has the most potential to be a scorer and franchise changer on this team, you take him.

Playing 2 PGs is a growing trend. I actually kinda like the idea of 2 PGs too. It puts so much pressure on defenses. With the rules the way they are and good posting big men going extinct, I see a 2 PG lineup as a huge plus. They can march to the FT line (because of the no touch rules), break down defenses to create for 3 pt shooters (including stretch 4s), and provide enough entertainment that it doesn't matter if we never win a championship with that core.

I love watching the Rockets, warriors, clippers, and suns play! None of them will win a championship this year but they're sure entertaining as sin!

So I mean, we all hope to win a championship soon. But until then, how about we get some entertaining bball for the next few years? To make up for the last few years of Corbin-Ball?

and at #23, most of guys i want would be gone anyway, so why not roll the dice on top 3 athlete of the draft? grobiii has shown that he can play. he is not a total scrub. he will only get better. did every on shooting drills and he did make many key 3's too. good value at #23.

Heck yes, lets get Gordon..........so the other team can play hack a Gordon down the stretch of every close game. How can you people be that high on a small forward that can not shoot? NOTE: As I stated earlier in another thread, I shot 69% from the free throw line as a 9th grader and did not have a shooting coach.
 
My dream?

Wiggins and Michigan's Klay Thompson.

Get us some offense and defense. If Gordon wants to reup to become a Manu lil 6th man, great. Otherwise, let some other team overpay for an athletic wing with a horribly inconsistent jump shot.

i would be highly surprised if gordon doesn't shoot low 60%'s by his 3rd year. shooting isn't his forte, but dude is young, and he will improve.

i don't expect him to be a force offensively. we need him to be a defensive star.

I like Gordon as well. I don't really disagree with Fabtrey here. I just don't know enough about Exum to like him over Gordon.

I think Gordon can learn to shoot. I like that he plays big. He is an excellent rebounder already. So is Randle though. And also Randle has a little more offensive game. It's tough to say at 4, but I definitely think Gordon is in the discussion.

But wouldn't you say Gordon has more worth and all-star potential because of his incredible athleticism, ball handling, ability to gaurd the or 4, and passing ability? Also, while neithere great shooters in college, A. Gordon did shoot much better from 3.


Right now, A. Gordon's pace of play, ball handling, defense, rebounding, and passing would make us instantly better.

As far as runners, we'd have:

Hayward
Burks
Neto
Evans
A. Gordon
Kanter (for a big man. )
Favors (for a big man).

You've got to think that, with a new coach, would finally tip the scales to start utilizing our teams three biggest advantages:

1. Altitude
2. Athleticism
3. Youth

Salt Lake City would once again be a formidable place to play. Win percentage would go up without even factoring in development. No team could keep up with us at home, especially after a back-to-back.

Whoever our next coach is better have lots of running the break as part of his strategy
