My Thoughts on the Portland Game

I was in attendance and got to see an ugly brutal game from the Jazz side. Evans got sand kicked in his face. Trey and Hayward looked OK as did Kanter and Favors at times. The Jazz got out shot and really got out rebounded. Last night Portland's bench was better than Utahs. Of the scrubs Michael Harris, Cook and Hudson looked OK. I'm not sure whey Cook is here if we are into tank mode. Based on last night Ian Clark will made a great DLeague player. An interesting factoide was that Dwayne Jones played about 3 minutes with no stats to speak and was a +12. In otherwords this game was not as close as the score would indicate. Long live the Tank!!!!!

I was at the game and since it wasn't televised I was trying to ad my absolute non-biased observations. One thing is I sure wish the Jazz had traded for Damian Lillard last year. He looked all world.

Why in the hell was there sand on the floor? What the hell was Crobin thinking letting these guys play with sand on the ****ing floor?

Awww, that's so nice of you, Jim. <3

When I posted that I hadn't yet read Locke's post. Looking back I think he was a little hard on Favors. DFav was the victim of the refs seeing ghosts on a couple of foul calls. I guess I should be celebrating the Jazz looking bad for the good of the Tank. Based on how the scrubs looked I can see the Jazz scouring the waiver wire at cutdown time.

You are confusing me. Why if we are tanking and our scrubs are playing really bad. Why would we want to scour the waiver wire? Hard to find players that played worse than ours did.

J. Holiday - 14.01 minutes...............1 Ast., 1 PF, 1 TO and 0 points
D. McGuire - 10:03 minutes.............1 Ast., 1 ST, 1 BS and 2 points
A. Biedrins - 13:19 minutes.............3 Reb., 1 PF, 1 TO and 0 points Compared to Gobert's 4:55 minutes...........0 Reb. 2 PF and 2 points (3rd big????????????? maybe still healing)
I. Clark - 15:31 minutes...................3 ST, 3 TO and 2 points

Hard to win with players like that getting minutes with little results. Thus our bench helping with the tank.
