NBA.com GM Survey

https://www.nba.com/news/2012-13-gm-survey/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt6a

There are several Jazz mentions, including Burks and Hayward getting votes for a player set to have breakout year, Kanter getting votes on an international player set to have a breakout year, and Earl Watson getting votes on a player that will be the best NBA head coach some day.

Wow hardly mentions of Utah at all. Not even in hopme court advatage. Time for Utah to take that stigma back.

I'm just going to leave this here:

Who is the best point guard in the NBA?
1. Chris Paul, L.A. Clippers -- 69.0%
2. Derrick Rose, Chicago -- 20.7%
3. Rajon Rondo, Boston -- 6.9%
4. Tony Parker, San Antonio -- 3.4%
Last year: Derrick Rose -- 59.3%

That's a shame. I'd place DWill above Parker and possibly Rondo.

Not with the year he had last year. He has to start playing winning basketball again before you can put him over Rondo or Parker.

No he doesn't. I can put him where I would like anytime I would like.

DWill was buried in ahole for a year. I think people will see a return to form this year.

i agre with this.. the dude was on a suckie team... he couldnt pull all the waight on his own. though some games he did. and he still dominated other PGs.
BTW this is my 200 post... AWESOME!!!

Dwill will probably never be as good as he was here during his younger years.

Disagree, the guy was putting the STATE of New Jersey on his back every night. He's got some nice pieces this year, Blatche, Johnson, Wallace, he can get 20 assists off those three alone.

Based on NBA trends and career highs for Deron I'm going to take the under on that. In fact, I'd be surprised if he hit 20 assists twice all season.

Consider this: In the last ten years there have only been thirty-two 20 assist games total. Deron had six of them, but it's a very rare occurrence.

20 assist games used to be substantially more common. There were 17 of them in 1988 and another 15 in 1989. So in those two years there were as many 20 assist games as we've seen in the last ten.

This is, of course, another assist record Stockton holds. It's really him (38 games), Magic (32 games) and everyone else. No other player has more than 18 of them. Steve Nash is the only active player to have ten of them. Even Jason Kidd has only done it twice.

So in sum, Deron will not be regularly putting up 20 assist games this season or I'll eat Trout's sweaty undershorts.

Also, when did Andray Blatche become a nice piece?

Rondo handed it to Williams a couple nights back. Williams couldn't do anything against Rondo's D.

I'd also put Westbrook ahead of Williams at this point for his excellent defense.

I want this guy:
