if you seriously think that is the case, lebron would shoot 15-20 more free throws a game. riding along as a defender is not a foul in and of itself.

Making contact not only with the body but the forearm with the guy driving to the basket is a foul, no ifs or ands about it. Your sense of reason is that you're a LeBron homer, which is no reason at all.

as a rational nba fan, you know BEFOREHAND that contact (which ginobili initiated) is NOT going to be called a foul on a last second shot.

no , it was a foul.
Bosh's block was a foul too.

I understand that the refs are less likely to blow the whistle in the last seconds, so that's another argument.
That's why I said Lebron would have gotten that call "4 out of 5 times", not "9 out of 10 times".

Allen initiated contact, not Gino.

I'd have to look again, but during the game it looked like Allen fouled Manu. Bosh's block on Green looked like a good no call, though. But again, I'd have to watch the replays a few times to really have an opinion.

My heart tells me that green and Manu played like dump and pop comes back with vengence so the spurs have an awesome chance of bouncing back. My brain tells me that the Spurs just lost their chance to bury the heat. Sigh.

For me it's reversed. Logically I think the Spurs certainly have a chance at the title still, but my gut says the Heat will come away with this thing.
