NBA Free Agency Moves in General (related to the Jazz, but not just moves made by the Jazz)

I like James Johnson but not for anywhere near that deal.

Assuming Jazz get Crowder we just need to pick up one more big. Hopefully one that can shoot a bit and play the 4 or 5.

After that look for a trade if a good one is out there, but nothing probably happens. If not roll with our roster and see what we got. There are probably going to be good trades at this years trade deadline and Jazz should have lots of trade chips.

James Johnson and Tim Hardaway Jr are both Bartlestein clients. He is killing it this offseason.

I really wish there was someway we could get Nikola Mirotic on the Jazz. He is a RFA though and I dont think he is worth the deal it would take (or that the Jazz could even clear enough room to get to that #) to make Chicago not match on.

He would be a great fit next to Rudy and w/ Rubio (National Team connection). He is also similar to Rubio in that he has played in chaotic situations with poor leadership that didnt properly utilize his skill-set. Looking at his numbers, he has gotten off to slow starts every year then put up really solid post all-star numbers. He also has much better than expected advanced defensive stats.

The problem is the Bulls have a ton of cap-room as they haven't signed any long-term deals yet, and their future cap-room is even more vacant. Maybe some kind of S&T trade could be worked out, but I doubt it.

I don't think teams should take his calls anymore. I'm also hiring him to see if I can get a decent NBA contract.
