What's new

NBA Playoffs thread.

I think the Refs have been BS'ing the Grizzlies on some calls. Gasol appears to have been getting hacked on some layups without calls.

Memphis' impressive run comes to an end with seven playoff victories or two more than the Jazz have experienced over the last three seasons combined.

Memphis was tough, rugged, and fun to watch. But they just flat out ran out of gas. If they had Harden, they probably would have won.

But at the end of the day, they lacked a second star the help take the burden off Z-bo. OKC had that, Harden and Westbrook helped out Kevin. OKC was just the better team.

they have nothing to be ashamed of.

In these playoffs, the cream is most definitely rising to the top. Dallas vs OKC and Chicago vs Miami, probably the deepest and most talented teams in the league. The best teams are still playing. LA, SA, and Boston were just too old and slow this year. A natural process since those teams have been drafting last year after year and have had limited amount of cash to sign big new FAs.

time for them to get younger, quicker, and deeper.

Just watching OKC, Miami, and Dallas proves to me how much more athletic and longer the Jazz need to become. Millsap is a good story, but he couldn't survive in these playoffs. We also need someone that can hit a damn 3 pointer too.

The TNT crew all picking Chicago over the Heat. Barkley picked the grizz over spurs and mavs over lakers, but i think he'll be wrong this time. Heat in six.

Now I'm in the mood to watch the Jazz in game 7 against the Bulls. Good thing I have it on VHS!
I've often tried to erase Steve Kerr's Game 6 winner in '97 and Jordan's Game 6 steal & push-off in '98 from my memory, but when exactly did that game happen?

Wow Taj Gibson had the best 2 dunks I've seen this entire postseason. It's incredible how much better he is than Boozer.
