I found this to be very Interesting.

This is what he had to say about Utah;

Andrei Kirilenko’s(notes) expiring contract is so substantial ($18 million dollars) that he could be traded for Gerald Wallace and Stephen Jackson. That’s right, both of them. But the Jazz actually appear prepared to go to battle with the players on their roster and let AK’s contract run its course, and it’s likely that they will do just that.

I don't know if this is what he is hearing or just his thoughts. Or if he is just saying that with the size of Ak contract Utah could take both thoses players as an example. Or if the Bobcats really offered that up?

But if the Bobcats did call utah and asked for Hayward and AK for Wallace, Jackson and Utah said No, I'd be so mad. I think that this trade (if real) would make Utah Elite! Whats your guys thoughts?

For one thing this is in the fantasy section. Secondly, would they trade Wallace for a rental. Would we include a 20yr old who we have high hopes for them? if you think our offense stagnates with jefferson, it will really bog down with jackson.

if the Jazz just let Kirilenko's contract run out, does that mean they are abandoning their freespending ways? they only have $50 million committed for next season.

The Jazz are bracing themselves for the new collective bargaining agreement. I suspect the Millers will push for a hard cap, but other owners will not take them seriously if the team is locked into paying salaries above the proposed hard cap.
