NBA SUMMER LEAGUE 2018

Guess it looks even better for us if you take their first two 2018 summer league games:

Ayton: 31 pts, 20 rebs, 0 assts, 2 blocks
Bradley: 29 pts, 25 rebs, 0 assts, 5 blocks

Yeah but this is Bradley's SECOND SUMMER LEAGUE. And, Bradley played in the G-League for a whole year last year against grown men.

More observations from summer league...

Popeye Jones looks like he’s eating at Popeyes chicken every day... dude is getting big. Alan Houston looks like he could still play... I say we give him a ten day.

My son gets a ton of autographs... deangelo Russell refused doe... he had a smoking hot chick with him.

Today I will meet world hero and future superstar Georges Niang I will try not to cry and hug him too much... no promises.

Popeyes Jones a hall of fame and first teamer for ugliest nba player of all time

Grayson got beat on a screen, Bradley saw it and came down to challenge. He was just beat by a step. Really not sure what the **** you were seeing there.

Looked like he even got a hand on the ball on the contest too.

On that play Bradley is in position to help and guard the kick out to Swanigan at 3.

Bradley isn't Gobert. He can't completely erase garbage defense from the perimeter. He rotated well all things considered, he just can't jump high and when your guard allows an elite athlete a free lane with 0 resistance, that's what happens.

Its just ridiculous to act like him getting dunked on means he can't be a NBA center when guys get dunked on nearly every game. It happens.

This.
If Burks (or anyone with great athleticism) gets that same freedom by the perimeter defender and gets that head of steam then he dunks on the majority of centers in the nba.

Tony Bradley was such a weird pick though. He can't play the 4 in today's NBA, so he's always going to play behind Gobert. How many minutes can he get MAX a game as a backup center? 15??

Why not draft a guy who could play a wing or potentially a 4, and develop him instead?

I'm still scratching my head over that pick.

Ya, when you look at it like that it’s definitely odd.

Yeah but who else was left on the board worth drafting? Im partial to Jonah Bolden (im biased he's aussie) who i'm watching now play summer league with philly, think he would have been a better fit.

Also we didn't just grab any guy available. We actually traded up to grab Bradley. Why are we trading up to get someone who will play at most 15 min. per game as long as Gobert on the team (potentially forever)?

Yeah that's odd, kids only what 20 tho? Maybe the plan is to develop him and trade him down the track for something else, still don't see him ever being worth a future first round pick tho.

Yeah and in the meantime he's taking up a roster space too, ... If we didn't like anyone, better to have traded out of the draft and grab one this year instead.

Other challengers for this award Sam Cassell, Ben Handlogten, The Junkyard Dog etc...

you're forgetting someone
