NBA Target for Restart

According to Shams and KSL, the NBA is targeting July 31 for its restart of the season. I guess the question I have is why bother? Why not head into next season on as normal a schedule as possible.

They're bothering because they will make a lot of money. They sell make a lot of money because millions want sports back, preferably before October.

I wish they would call the season but clearly the money involved will create a very weird finish to the season. My question is, how much will they lose next year by doing this strange end this season? With a late start will they still do 82 games next year? And will their overall approach cost them fans?

Don’t think Mexicans are profiled, harassed, discriminated against or shot dead in the streets by those paid to serve and protect quite like Blacks are.

Whatever. Picking and choosing minorities is not equality that everyone is seeking.

If you make a comment and you change the race for a different race and it sounds wrong then it probably is.

Mexicans are considered to be rats that are shot at on the border. Mexican children are nabbed by border patrols and in many cases never returned to their families. Mexicans don't speak up because they are afraid of being deported. So, um, yeah. Profiled, shot dead in the desert by those paid to serve and protect... at a higher clip than Blacks. Mexican carcasses just burn up in the sun and are covered by sand. It's happened for 30 years to thousands and no one cares.
