Ruland was a flat out stud in the paint. I saw a game when he played for the bullets where he just killed the Lakers when they had Kareem. He was like a bowling ball in the lane bouncing off defenders. I don't know if Kanter will ever be the offensive player Ruland was, but he might be able to rebound like him.

Yeh i was thinking who the heck is jeff ruland, judging by stats he was a respectable big man, though he led the league in turnovers once, 342 in one season that is a lot.

...ouch! Thought he had better hands than that! Sounds like Ostertag had better hands....and I didn't think that was possible!
