Need Software advice...

Hey Gals and Guys,

I've got a ton of WMA files that I want to convert into MP3 files because I'd like to listen to my files on my ipod. What is a good WMA to MP3 converter that I can download on the internet? I don't want to just start downloading random converters to see which is best.

Anyone know any good converters? Preferably cheap, however, I understand that I get what I pay for.

<sigh> nevermind. Apparently, itunes can convert them to AAC which is good enough for me. Please disregard this thread.

iTunes can also turn those AAC files into MP3, if you wish.

Is there any type of loss every time you convert and is there a point where it becomes noticeable?
