People using RT absolutely baffle me. It’s the dumbest scoring criteria possible and eliminates any sense of accuracy. RT is known to inflate their scores.
Two things…one calling a movie simply good or bad is not going to lead to anything resembling an accurate indication of how good the film is or isn’t. Add in the fact that it’s pretty much been proven that RT has had manipulations of reviews and therefore scores for some films and it leads to what I’m talking about. Think Longlegs last summer which had like a 98% after a few days or week in the theater but worse and more obvious. And that movie is ****ing horrendous.
Accurate? Arent they both just aggregate #'s from users?
The internet is just full of people who review bomb stuff nowadays so I dont even bother to look at aggregate numbers.
