Humphries sucks. Their first round pick is probably 16 or up. No thanks. Would much rather re-sign Paul.

I dont think Humph sucks, but I don't think he deserves that cash. I do think we can get a better pick and a prospect from another team. ie: Rockets

No. Millsap is a very good player. I would want a couple first round picks and Humphries. The funny thing is, Brooklyn is starting to look like NY as they began their fall. It might be a good time to get a couple future firsts from them.

As I've said before, I'm all for using our 2013 cap-space as a means for acquiring future first-round picks and the Jazz could certainly afford to absorb Hump's $12 million 13-14 expiring salary. Putting aside the fact I'd prefer to resign Millsap, I feel like this is the sort of deal that still will be available to make this summer if Millsap and the Nets agree to a deal that Utah feels is too pricey (I don't think the difference between the Nets trading for him now and re-upping him to a 5-year extension instead of a 4-year one via sign&trade would play much of a factor w/acquiring Millsap). The Jazz keep talking about not wanting to risk their future flexibility - I think they should wait until the summer to take on longterm contracts.
