For those who hasn't listened to.. some great insights into how Lindsey evaluate talents / how to scout, etc.

https://1280thezone.com/index.php/audio/listen/the_big_show_utah_jazz_general_manager_dennis_lindsey4

- trading for Kawhi even though he couldn't shoot & how he improved

- educating the coaches, identifying "holes" in the team

- draft orders, democratic or otherwise

- awareness of '14 draft class

- the "running list" of draft board

- taking out emotion of draft night

- argue about list 24-48 hours before the draft

- gave an example of taking back a contract and ending up with 3 first round picks - WOW could this be the Dallas pick for taking back Shawn Marion's contract???!!!

That's the MAIN reason I'm posting this interview.

That's right, not that it's a bad thing but you were the one that posted in the other thread saying that he shot well in New York today. If MCW can shoot he is the best point guard if not then the 2nd best point guard in this draft. And I give you credit you have been on Carter-Williams bandwagon for a long time now. Because I remember you saying you liked him around tournament time too,and probably before that when I was saying I love Trey Burke but Burke fell away from the Jazz realistically the day Marcus Smart announced his return to school.

Boring.

Get off the MCW bandwagon. You are going to be embarrassed soon enough.

Thanks 4 advice. Jumped train, rolled onto swamp, wrestled alligator and river snake, climbed out to fight jaguars and bears, killed a leprechaun mouse fr food, and then swore off MCW for ever. I don't want to be embarrassed soon enough.

I owe you my lif

Ur welcom

Like halfway through the interview it starts all over and repeats the first half of the interview over. Also it just cuts off mid conversation at the end. Is this becuase I am using google chrome or something?

LOL... masterclass.

If a guy has decent shooting form and has a great work ethic then I don't worry too much about his poor college shooting. Magic Johnson was not a great shooter coming into the league. Michael Jordon wasn't a great 3 pt shooter either. Now I am not saying MCW is on the same level but guys can improve their shooting if their mechanics are not too bad (Ronnie Brewer).

I really don't have a favorite right now. Bazz and Bongo are the only two guys I don't want on the Jazz right now. When the draft gets closer I will narrow down my lists. In this draft I have 3 or 4 guys at PG/C that I like.
