Funny, when in Utah and I bring up being from Kentucky, I most times get some reference to basketball and the Utes.
I have lived in Utah for 5 years. It's a fact that when mentioning being 'from' Kentucky, or living 'in' Utah, I get more stereotypical comments regarding Utah BY FAR than Kentucky.
In my experience though, the Utah stereotypes have less to do with polygamy and more to do with weird alcohol laws and no 'fun.'

I don't think so, but my buddy told them we had no wives and that we were "together". They thought that was hilarious.
