I HATE the popularity of the "Aiden" names. There are WAY too many Aidens, Kaydens, Jaydens, and Braidens.

Is that like white people's version of names like Lebryan, Latonya,etc.

I don't know if something like this would matter to you, but which name is more popular right now? I grew up with at least one other "Brian" and at least one "Ryan" in my class every year. That **** gets annoying in a hurry. For example, on my daughter's soccer team, of the ten girls, there are two Brooklyn's. In order to not confuse them, one has to be called her last name.

Yeah I have seen alot of Brooklyn's lately but no Kennedy's. Part of the reason we are second guessing the name. It does not have to be unique but I do not want her sharing a name with everyone else either.

I don't think you can go wrong with either name, to be honest. I was not fond of (see, HATED) my 2 year old's name, (Piper) but Mrs. Trout wanted it and guess what? She couldn't possibly be anything other than Piper. Fits her like a glove. Whatever you pick will be awesome. If it happens to turn out poorly, you can take the lead on the next one.

FWIW, I've got dibs on our next girl name: Elvis. (Mrs. Trout still thinks I'm bitter about "Piper" so I get to pick the next one)
