U must've forgotten but it explains that Luke left 15 years earlier after Snoke seduced Ben (Kylo Ren) to the darkside.

Why I hope Luke turns bad. Don't see why he can't just blame himself for Solo's death get revenge by killing Ren causing him to be turned. Then the last movie Rey can turn him good again like Luke did His father.

I was a bit disappointed I must admit when he lifted his helmet and he didn't look anything like I expected .. I.e. the bad *** as you put it.

But my thinking is the Director wanted to keep him multi dimensional and not your typical villain... I.e. more human and has that softer side too.

Vader had his conflicts without being a bumbling idiot. Also see Anakin also had his conflicts but still kicked ***. Ren couldn't even read her mind?

Hogwash!! Luke's mom wasn't a Jedi and he still turned out to be the most powerful Jedi. And this is why he needs to turn to the darkside. Luke as a Sith Lord would be badass. Not to mention I get to watch star wars nut bags cry because their hero Luke has turned.
