New star wars

Since Ren has spent years developing his ability a he should be much more powerful then Rey, who hasn't even started developing them. I'll concede that she could possibly stop him from reading her mind, but not beat her in a light saber duel when this is the first time she's ever wielded a light saber.

Well, Ren had just taken a crossbow shot from Chewie, which as we saw is a badass weapon. So he was a bit weak during the encounter.

Most good force users can deflect those apparently he couldn't we need Luke to go bad and save this new trilogy

why is this so exciting? srs question

A healthy franchise just means they're on the right track and more quality movies coming in the future... I just hate it when a favourite film of mine tanked and that's the end of the road.

I hope the Star Wars franchise keeps spinning off good quality movies for years to come.

so the bottom dollar is directly equated with quality? ok.

I wouldn't say it's exciting but it is an all time record.

To me it shows that there is a titanic demand for Star Wars.

Luke got shot in the hand in return of the Jedi. Good force users get injured too. That is why obi wan and Liam Neeson died. And Vader. And palpatine. They all died at one point. And they were trained.

Rey didn't beat kilo ren, she just stood her ground to an injured, and emotional figure who had just killed his dad and was losing a lot of blood.

Also, he is not a sith. At least, it's not clear that he is not a sith. He is supposed to be of the "knights of ren" which is a different order from the sith. But then throws out the theory that darth plaugeis is snoke, because plaugeis is a sith lord who conquered death, and that would make kilo ren a sith apprentice.

All of those sith and Jedi died at the hand of other Jedi. Luke got hit by a bolt and still kicked ***. There's no way in hell a trained sith apprentice skilled in the art of light saber combat should lose to some young girl that has never in her life had any Jedi training or light saber training. He should've been able to beat her with a blindfold on. What's a little energy bolt wound to a force user. Sith and Jedi alike have been known for blocking physical pain through the force.

Stop making pathetic excuses for this poor pathetic waste of a sith or sith apprentice or whatever the hell he is
