NFL 2015 Season Discussion Thread

I said before the game the one thing that bothers me about Miller is his celebrations. But he did something worth celebrating in this game.
For sure. I like that he did that

I don't mind celebrations of touch downs or sacks or turn overs or even big game changing first downs but when you celebrate a 4 yard gain in the 3rd game of the season in the first quarter you look like a fool...and if you're going to do celebrations like dabbing you better be able to handle it coming back at you.
I like seeing guys celebrate as teammates, as long as you don't taunt the other team first I don't see the big deal. I want the players to be about passion and the NFL be about business.

At least I didn't see cam celebrating at all. I kept hearing about how cam celebrates every play even when his team is losing. Today I saw some big plays by cam but no celebrations after.

It's why they lost. Both teams looked like they lacked confidence on offense, which what happens when your O-line gets dominated.

Football has changed a ton, the one thing that hasn't and will never change that football is won by the guys up front.

I still don't know how that wasn't a catch. Ball never hit the ground. Then on the next play, strip sack for 6 for the Denver D. Those are the types of plays officials can't flub on the BIGGEST stage. Completely changed the game and completely rattled the Panthers.

Uh. No. Not even close.

It is-- and it is also 100% a more ethical league, with a commissioner who isn't a ****ing moronic piece of sewage.

Football is meh. The Super Bowl was meh. The OKC vs. Warriors game was better.

There hasn't been a game in the playoffs that was better than 2015 Game 7 Clippers vs Spurs.

The product the NBA puts on the floor will stand the test of time better than the NFL.. It might not seem like that now, it's the truth though.

The NBA will continue to globalize, while the NFL will continue pretending like they aren't putting their players at extreme long-term risk absorbing these collisions..

Utter offensive futility is the flip side to any great defensive battle. The Broncos made 11 first downs and gained 194 yards of offense in their 24-10 victory, the lowest yardage total for a Super Bowl winner. Newton completed 18 of 44 passes (44 percent). Both quarterbacks threw interceptions and lost fumbles. There were two offensive touchdowns, on 1- and 2-yard rushes.
The Broncos (1-of-14) and Panthers (3-of-15) combined to convert 13.8 percent of their third-down chances. The combined third-down conversion rate was another record low for a Super Bowl.
Manning averaging 0.5 yards per pass play on third down. Manning averaged 2.9-yards per pass attempt on third down
