Minnesota Vikings rookie linebacker Eric Kendricks has been named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for October. In 3 games this month, Kendricks had 20 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 tackles for loss and 5 quarterback hits. His 4 sacks tied for fifth in the league and first among all rookies.
He's an inside linebacker too, Only Clay Matthews has more sacks as an ILB
Looks like another epic draft class for Spielman, It's gonna pay dividends in the coming years, he deserves a raise just on the strength of these drafts... We easily have one of the best defenses in the league, and no one thought so pre-season, pundits are becoming convinced in droves tho
Diggs in the 5th round was the steal of the draft.
1st round pick Trae Waynes hasn't seen the field much, he's gonna be ok.
2nd round Kendricks is the best inside backer we've had in a long time.
3rd round Danielle Hunter is a monster from LSU, he's much further along than people thought.
4th rd T.J. Clemmings is the starting RT due to injury, not doing anything special, he's been passable though, I guess.
Mycole Pruitt is an interesting FB/TE type, he's only 6'2" but can really do a bunch of stuff.
