NFL Survival Pool

I just didn't trust them and was unsure which Kerry Collins and Colts team we'd get.
It was a toss-up as to the game I chose (Houston over Indy or San Diego over Minnesota). It came down to what Salmon said about a veteran QB and team perhaps responding to having Peyton out, or San Diego starting slow yet again. I almost got burned, but will take the gift and move on to next week.

Week 2 - Steelers at home vs. Seattle...... may save the Steelers for later

This is about as big a lock as one gets. Lock it up. If Denver holds on tonight and I still have my eight entries left, I'll be going with Pitt in two, possibly even as many as four entries.

Week 2, a sentence rarely written or said when discussing Survival Pools, or anything else for that matter: I'm picking the Lions.

Looks like Denver isn't holding on to anything.

This is not meant as a hindsight comment, but I don't understand why you were so sure of Denver. It's not as if they were good last year and the Raiders actually came on at the end. Denver still might come back and win, but I saw that game and knew that was one I was staying away from.

Some games this week being decided by special teams. Ginn sealed the game for SF on Sunday. And tonight, Janikowski with a 63-yd FG for Oakland and Lechler averaging 58 yards for his 6 punts. Absolutely huge for Oakland as they have no passing game at all.
