Alex Smith = Trent Dilfer.
You can win a Super Bowl with him IF he doesn't make mistakes.
You can win with him if you have a once-in-a-generation defense like the 1985 Bears or the 2000 Ravens.

You can win a Super Bowl with him IF he doesn't make mistakes. But ask him to bring you back in a game or consistently throw the deep ball and he can't do it. Yes, he had a fantastic game against Buffalo. But he came right back with a horrible game today. He's a middle of the pack QB. And I agree with calling him a "game manager." Get the lead, have the defense playing well, and you can tell Alex just to be conservative. Continue to throw 6 yards on 3rd and 8 and hope the receiver can get the extra 2. But put some stress on him to come back and he panics and makes mistakes.
Haha it was a for reals question.
I'm serious about doing a badass fantasy football league next year btw.
You like playing with Defensive players? I kind of hate it.
No way. Playing with Defenders is bad ***. You better do it.
How so?
It just seems really random who the best Defensive players are for fantasy. The best defenders dont score the most points. Seems stupid and impossible to predict who's going to do well.
My problem with IDP is that the scoring doesn't reflect what's happening on the field. The best QB's score the most fantasy points. Same with WR and RB. Not so much with IDP. DeAngello Hall is the #2 rated IDP player in my league so far...
