Honestly I kind of thought this to be the case without even knowing these stats.
Rudy is so crucial.
It's so interesting to watch how much different the perimeter players play when Rudy is camped under the basket. They're going after steals, denying the ball, all of it just cause Rudy is in. Rudy makes an impact on defensive possessions even if he never has to contest a shot. It's kind of like the "gravity" concept but on the other side of the court.
