On another note: the Jazz were in no position to offer him more than the minimum anyway. It’s still in Paschall’s interest to re-sign with the Jazz if he can’t find something better than the minimum since he’d keep his Bird Rights which would benefit his potential future financial options if the Jazz traded him.

I’m all about maximizing every asset, and I feel like Trent is good enough to have on the roster and/or be a throw-in on a trade, but I don’t know that.

I do know I’m ready for Butler to get a chance.

Or DM doesn't have the influence everyone thinks he has. Danny is doing what a GM should do. Find players who can help the team win. He has never considered players feelings in the past so I don't know why he would start now.
