Not 1 but 2 Utah AGs arrested!

Am I the only person that thinks this is par for the course? That people are more often than not given the resources to get elected or are appointed precisely for their willingness to serve certain people rather than the people. For their corruptibility or at least less than perfect ethics.

I would like to say I am encouraged by this investigation and the charges but I still view it as a drop in the bucket. The tip of the iceberg. I'm not 100% sure how we would go about meaningful reform but it is needed at every level of government imo.

Is it possible the scam is on them and some people wanting power are telling stories and trying to get rid of them for their own purposes?

Just saying if your willing to believe one corruption conspiracy theory, then the other one could be valid too.

So you think that several utah DAs (repub and demo), the Utah State legislature (all repub), and the FBI (mixed) are in on a conspiracy to knock off 2 former AGs so that they can place someone they all like and support, into power?

Did I say I thought that? Just like to explore all options as opposed to some people that wear horse blinders when it comes to their political takes.
If something is fed to me through the media I don't just buy into it because someone said so, I like to explore the options first.
Too much crap going on politically to just take my info on a spoon from anyone.
tbh anything you support, I am almost forced to at least entertain the opposing view no matter how insane it might appear.
