Love Beverly. He's a pest.

Ariza is certainly not a downgrade if he's going to shoot 5/8 from 3 like he did last night. I think they are probably better there this year because of depth. Papanikolaou looked pretty good, though he's probably going to need some time to adjust to the NBA. But he might be better than Parsons by himself once he adjusts.

i notice no one's made an official game thread yet. I don't want to be the one because if we somehow lose I don't want the burden of being the 'one' to jinx the Jazz and bring our eutopian outlook back to earth. I know I will be accusing the one who starts it should we lose :)

All very fair assessments. I can't wait to see Trey vs. Beverly. Two pitbulls going at each other! Love it!

Ariza is a way better spot up shooter than Parsons, but not nearly as dynamic. If Harden goes down for anytime they will really miss his playmaking.
 
Just got tickets to the game (and the Cavs and Pelicans, dat tipoff deal)* pretty good price, dem nosebleeds doe. looking forward to it.
