What's new

Not as bad as we thought?

Wins are wins. They don't come easy in the NBA. Just ask the Knicks who were roasted by the lowly Bobcats tonight.

I still think we're pretty bad. Gonna win some games just based on effort and teamwork though.

I predicted 28 wins, still pretty comfortable with that prediction.

I was thinking close to that as well. I still think that it doesn't have to be that way though. If the Jazz stick with the team we have and dont surround our better young guys with some talent. Why would they want to stick around when free agency comes around. I feel KOC needs to make some moves so we can finish the season above 500.

It has been 6 game and we are 0-3 on the road and 3-0 at home. I think people should wait a little longer before they start making any kind of informed decision on how this season will turn out.

The Jazz are who they are. I don't mind the road blowouts, we weren't predicted to win those games anyways. I think Ty did a good job managing minutes for six games in eight nights. I just want the Jazz to be fun to watch. I think the youth on this team will make it fun. I hope we can stay competitive at home and sneak a few on the road.

....well, if we beat Golden State tonight...go to 5-3....ESPN might have to give us some press....and consider us the surprise team of the lock out season!

Utah still hasn't proven anything. All 4 wins have been at home, in which 3 of those wins were against teams with injured star players.

Still haven't won anything on the road, or even been had any reason to be excited about road play yet. Even if we win tonight, it'll be against yet another team with an injured star.

Don't get me wrong though, the Utah Jazz of the first 3 games has been a completely different team than the Utah Jazz of the last 3 games. We've improved in every aspect of the game, and our young guys have me more excited than ever.

I just think we still have plenty of time for a bad season. The March Meltdown will be hard to watch.

But who knows-- we still have a chance at a good run. I just hope we don't get to the playoffs based on pure luck (playing injured teams) and getting clobbered in the first round, and losing our draft pick because of it.

I think this beating teams without their stars thing is getting kind of overblown at this point. The players they have been missing have been stars, so-to-speak, but none have been in the super-star echelon. Basically, akin to teams playing us without Al Jefferson. It's not like we were playing Lakers without Kobe, OKC without Durant, Miami without Lebron/Wade...
