We can be psyched about Key's performance but I want to see half a season of consistency before I elevate him to top 15 PG status.

This is fair, but if he keeps up his play so far and gets back to his career average in 3pt shooting he’s very easily a top 15 PG.
Just in the NW Division, there's SGA, Jamal Murray, Jrue Holiday, and Minnesota started Edwards until he got hurt.
In the Pacific Division, there's Luka Doncic, Steph Curry, James Harden, Phoenix starts Booker, and the Kings start Lavine or Dennis Shroeder (so you can say Keyonte is as good or better than Schroeder).
In the Southwest Division, there's De'Aaron Fox, Ja Morant, Amen Thompson, Jeremiah Fears (so you can say Keyonte is better than Fears, who's a rookie).
Dallas doesn't really have a PG with Kyrie being out, so they've been putting Cooper Flagg there, which is weird.
I like Keyonte, I've always believed he could score 20 ppg, but the standards in today's NBA are sky-high.

And cuts down on TOs. He’s 7th in the NBA in assists among all players but has the third highest turnovers.

Assuming this is a genuine question, I will attempt to explain.
I haven't read much of Sarah Todd's stuff but I assume she has been critical of Keyonte. He is saying that she might be secretly upset/angry that Keyonte is playing well, because it would prove her previous opinion wrong. Something to that effect. Others can explain if I have it wrong.
