One thing interesting that I noticed while reading this article: I always grew up watching the Jazz and I've conceptualized them as being older men. It's odd that now the entire team, sans Novak, is younger than me.

Vets can play in the d-league and some might for injury rehab, but a team cannot force them to do so. I think that was the point of that post.
