At best I think it could start a legal battle and my guess is the election would have to go ahead with Obama on the ballot. Either way Trump would be creating a crisis where there isn't a problem and the ensuing chaos might serve Republican interests but most certainly wouldn't serve the U.S. interests.

There wouldn't be a legal battle unless Trump has some sort of evidence that Obama's mother wasn't a US citizen AND that Obama wasn't really born in the US.

Why don't repubs ever mention Bush? Has there ever been a President so excommunicated by his own party in modern times? Is he even allowed to be in the same state as his party's convention?

I mean, look at Clinton! The dude is still a rock star.

Repubs? They seem to have deleted those 8 years between Clinton and Obama, every once in a while talk about daddy Bush, and constantly worship some sucky actor who did wonders to hurt public education, ran up huge deficits, and whose son strongly supports stem cell research.

Why don't repubs ever talk about their last President who served for 2 terms?

Did he really suck that bad? If so, why do we want to continue his policies?
