When I joined the Navy Bill Clinton was the president. Shortly after Bush Jr. became president. It changed NOTHING about how the Navy worked. The Navy, the Air Force, the Army and the Marines don't depend on the president for their testosterone. It's cool that Putin walks around shirtless, wrestles polar bears, steals super bowl rings and pretends to stand up to the U.S.. Meanwhile, the largest, most technologically advanced, best trained and by far (very far) most experienced military in actual combat and tactical logistics continues to live by it's traditions and continues to protect and defend the U.S. constitution. The president doesn't change that. The president can't change that.

So what constitutes a Third World War? Doesn't have to mean a war between old powers, or involve nukes. Right now, JMHO, but I believe we are involved in the War of Western Civilization vs. Islamic Fascism. To last more generations then I care to contemplate. If that isn't enough of a world war, fighting people who want to destroy civilization itself and return to some Dark Age, then what is? We are in a world war.
