Dislocated ankle was the injury that Udoka Azubuike got a couple times. That's recoverable. The broken fibula is tough. That's the Paul George or Gordon Hayward injury.

Whats the recovery time frame for this kind of injury?
Paul George and Gordon Hayward were both fractured tibia's, which is typically a lot worse.
The fiblia is the small bone behind the calf muscle. A lot depends if it is a simple or compound fracture.Julius Randle broke his tibia as well..
I'm calling capI don't know if anyone remembers Chris Childs who was a guard for the Knicks and Nets quite awhile ago but he had the same injury and if I remember he was out about six to eight weeks.
That was just a stress fracture. This one is certainly severe.I don't know if anyone remembers Chris Childs who was a guard for the Knicks and Nets quite awhile ago but he had the same injury and if I remember he was out about six to eight weeks.
I had the same injury and would agree. A lot depends on how bad the dislocation is and what's torn or stretched there and whether they have to put any hardware in to heal the fracture.I broke my tibia and fibula and I can't imagine running and jumping 9 months after my injury.
Childs was fractured through the fibula but they were able to set it without screws. That was just a stress fracture. This one is certainly severe.
