Lauri is under contract for three years at a super affordable rate. One could argue he might have the best contract in the NBA right now.

Dude is going nowhere.
A month ago there were so many geniuses who wanted to trade him for Westbrook and some picks.

I’m sooooo happy for Clarkson, on the bench all these years and not finishing games, now he’s starting and finishing games, and rewarding the org for it. I can’t remember the last time I watched him have that bad a shooting night and it didn’t hurt the team. He literally shot 3-14 and was +14. Dude is changing his game and playing hard on both ends. His shot was off so he goes out and gets 7 boards and 7 assists. We saw flashes last year, but he’s putting it together this year.
+1 I'm happy for JC. He improve a lot this year, take very fews bad shoot and show great leadership. Hope they exend him.

Keep Mike. Keep Clarkson. It's fairly evident that they are the backbone of this team, and the veteran presence we need on this squad.

We are a very well rounded team. The youngsters are learning from some of the wisest minds in the business with Olynyk, Gay, Mike, JC. I firmly believe that with them on the team, they'll keep this team operating on all cylinders.

Rudy Gay doesn't get enough credit, but the guys a seasoned veteran who's played in the Grit & Grind Grizzlies, and Popovich. Ainge did a wonderful job of constructing this team.

I believe both Vando and Sexton will get a decent amount better as the season goes on.
Plus ochai and kessler being rookies we should expect improvement.

Playoffs are real bros.

Sexton and Beasely played great off the bench last night. Sexton led the team in plus/minus.

I heard Boler say last night that Vanderbilt had had two career threes prior to coming to the Jazz and has hit four in his first month playing for us. If that’s not growth and development I don’t know what is.
One of the beautiful things about having no expectations is that you can have players trying to expand their games without having to worry about screwing up. That takes a lot of pressure off these guys when working to get better. That is one of the reasons that I think Ben Simmons is struggling so much offensively. He needs to go to a team with no expectations so he can be bad while working his way out of this funk and not have it matter.
