>=] OFFICAL GAME THREAD! Jazz @ Blazers

Guess you are not watching the same games as me. Hayward is constantly grabbed, held, and pushed before he even gets the ball. The refs give us no respect -- the no-calls on the fouls of Favors were ridiculous, and then they call him for touch fouls. I wrote Mike Bantom today about that, not that it will do any good, but who knows. Like I said, if Lebron got the same treatment, he'd be at the foul line the entire game.

he is getting help and pushed but he is still throwing up some garbage shots. In crunch time I was thinking man he is getting bailed out right now. Everyone is getting pushed though look at all the times Favors and Gobert were getting pushed in the back. It is getting close to playoff time. Players need to step up.

Guess you havent been reading the forum because you are talking to a troll who specialize in Hayward hate.

I didnt like Boozer either when everyone was drooling over him. Same obsession from Jazz fans same mediocre player. I'll just have to wait til everyone else sees im right.

Burke seemed to me like he was phoning it in. I think he wanted to get traded and I wonder if he's gonna have an attitude problem the rest of the year.

Really wish we could have flipped him for a better PG.

I'm surprised Atlanta didn't make a bigger push for Burke. Teague / Schroeder doesn't seem like a long term solution as neither seem to want to be the backup. Burke could've fit that roll for them. Surprised they traded Mack actually.

And Burke wants to be a backup?

Detroit was throwing assets around at the deadline. After shipping out Jennings, I wondered if they'd be interested, but there was no chatter along those lines.

Is there an NBA that would start Trey?

Possibly the Knicks (I think he would at least be in the running)

At point we have:
- Jose Calderon
- Langston Galloway
- Jerian Grant
- Jimmer Ferdette

Galloway is the D-League 10 day contract guy who made the NBA all rookie second team. That's quite an achievement. Undrafted, D-Leaguer, 10 day contract signed in January...and he makes the NBA all rookie team! Trey Burke would not start over him.

Jimmer? The guy is shooting 100% from the field already. D-League All Star Game MVP. Trey Burke would not start over him.

Notre Dame's Grant and veteran Calderon? Trey Burke would start over them.

Galloway I like.
Galloway is a really nice sports story -- who doesn't root for the overlooked underdog? -- and he can play some good ball. He's one of the reasons I like sports so much. Nice quiet guy who just does his best. Is he on the level of most NBA players? No. But he has heart.
