I think you are putting your head in the sand over this. My facebook was a disaster on election night, there were posts lamenting the death of america from many of my friends and family, from people who I had never seen post about politics in the past. This suggests to me that it was more than just the vast minority of Romney supporters who lost their **** a few days ago. One of my cousins even posted a video on facebook of his 7 year old daughter bawling her eyes out upon hearing Romney lost. It was ridiculous.

And I think you are over dramatizing it. I have seen business as usual since Wednesday. Perhaps your family and friends need to get a grip. All of mine weren't happy but have reacted like Conan and PKM.
I have seen far more gloating that Obama won than anger over a Romney loss. But I still think the gloaters are a vast minority.
Oh, they definitely need to get a grip.
I should also add that they are all Mormon so this was a double whammy for them. Maybe that has something to do with their overreactions.
This sucks:

So Obama got the votes in the places where the people live. Amazing.
I've seen this and similar things posted on my facebook the last couple of days by Romney supporters, and I don't get it.
Land doesn't vote, people do.
He didn't post the article with this map. It had nothing to do with the election.
It was dark red for highest IQ's to dark blue for lowest IQ's. It just so happens that when you get more people together into confined areas (large cities) that they begin to act irrationally and exhibit large amounts of groupthink and delirium. The scientists were truly worried about the spread of the degrading of the brain matter of people in the blue areas and were brainstorming ideas of how to slow the spread of this disease.
The answer was work.
While I think they are on to something, I don't see it happening... at least for the next 4 years.
...take advantage of other things...

Like an educated populace?
Nice try, but people that get degrees often end up having to move to where the population and jobs are located if they want the almighty dollar, or support their family and all that.
Big business generally will put their offices in a central or highly populated area to save on costs and take advantage of other things, so basically your stats are skewed because the smart people from those red/smart states are going to the blue and populated areas to talk sense into the morans. It's too bad it's almost impossible to talk sense into people with dreams and no motivation.
The real meaning of it is that those red states are those that value open spaces and freedom. The blue states don't value either of those things.
