I don't think the Jazz are looking to trade Favors. I think the Jazz are looking to make moves and the other teams want Favors so that's what they look at. Jazz have not pulled the trigger and that Favors is still here says something I think.

Hezonja’s father broke down a few scenarios for B/R:
New York Knicks, No. 4: “New York would be fantastic under Phil Jackson, who is accomplished, and Derek Fisher, because he played with Kobe Bryant and knows what is required to win.”
Orlando Magic, No. 5: “Orlando are serious and could be a good landing spot with Scott Skiles as coach and Victor Oladipo and Elfrid Payton as rising stars.”
Denver Nuggets, No. 7: “Denver have been chasing Mario for the past two seasons and can take him as a wing. But we’re looking for the right environment.”
Detroit Pistons, No. 8: “Detroit would be great because Stan Van Gundy is a great coach.”
Tellem, who is now consulting for the Detroit Pistons, would also be hard-pressed to pass on his soon-to-be former client.

Buzz ahead of the Jazz pick:
Lakers may have decided on Okafor two weeks ago, but keep floating Russell's name to force PHilly to trade with them. Philly has the rights to a Miami pick, protected 1-10 next year and unprotected thereafter and they own about 13 2nd round picks including 5 this year.
After initial hype for Porzingas, teams have cooled on him. Especially those that had him in for workouts. (knicks LAL) seen as a project.
Meanwhile, the hype for Mario Herzona is picking up. He went scoreless yesterday in his last game in Europe.

Spence on 1280 Saying if Jazz miss on Johnson and Winslow they are trading back to 17 with Milwaukee.
I predicted this somewhere on these forums, the Bucks need a PR victory to get a new stadium funded. A trade up for Kaminsky or Decker would be a victory that far surpassed baksetball to the Bucks ownership.
#12 for #17 and Damien Inglis?

Jazz needed WCS to go ahead of them and one or two of: Cameron Payne, Myles Turner, Sam Dekker or Kelly Oubre, but it doesn't look like any of them are going to now. None of those 4 or WCS is very high on Jazz board.
Jazz not willing to part with any of big three: Favors, Hayward, Gobert.
Locke loves Justice Winslow, could be multiple time all-star.
Myles Turner could be terrific, but he needs multiple things to come around or improve. No guarantee he fixes those things.
Locke thinks Jazz will be looking at Oubre or Booker at 12. Most likely Booker if Oubre goes to Miami.
