I don't know enough about his defense to agree or disagree, but he did have 4 blocks in his last game. Not sure what that means, but thought I'd throw it out there.

Limited athleticism, not a great wingspan, not super strong. He's most likely going to play the 4, and I just don't see him playing great defense there. He'll be average at it if he works hard.

Kind of like Parker then. Saric has put up big numbers this year and he has done it against grown men. I wish the Jazz had another pick and could grab him around 10 or later.

The guy can't hit a free throw to save his life and if you notice most of the buckets are off throw up oops.

That's cool brah....try doing that in the NBA on a consistant basis....I don't want a OOP throw up one trick pony. He's not Blake Griffin and he never will be. No thank you.

If we keep pick (which we won't), DL would take Vonley as a stretch 4. Grab defensive help with a later pick or free agent. Not convinced Vonley isn't gone before 5.

Looks like you've been watching YouTube. He's got a shot, nice little 17 footer. Catch and shot or pull up. He has a lot of dunks because he outruns his man, and a lot of layup a because his crossover is deceptive.

Kind of annoying that all anyone puts in highlight videos are dunks. More so that fans view a few and then are suddenly experts on him.

I will trust scouts. That's why I am not commenting on the other players, I have not watched every game or followed them.

Well if he has such an amazing work ethnic then why is he so bad a FTs? Just asking. He needs to lock himself in the gym and not leave until he can make 3/4 without sweating.

His shot form looked pretty terrible tbh. It's like he models that to Blake griffin.

I've never claimed he had no red flags. I just don't agree that he's trash. I don't think his game shot looks bad, but his free throw form is terrible. The thing I'm pushing back on is this trend on jazzfanz that went from "he's got no free throw" to "he's got no O game, defensive player only". News flash, he's not a lock down defender either. He works hard and is a good defender. He's not useless on offense either.

He's a good basketball player who will likely go at 5 or 6. If he had a super polished jumpshot then he would be in consideration for top 3.

And he's NOTHING like Blake Griffin. He's a 3 who can play the 4 when needed.
