@lazyD do you think kane will be a good nba point guard? My brother, whose opinion i spect lotsn lots, says that kane could be a good big nba PG. So since you be watchin dat nikka mo dan most, whatcha think?

Nah. Defensively he'd be a great asset, but his handle is pretty poor for a lead guard and his shooting (while vastly improved, like, insanely improved) isn't that great either.

If he locks himself in a gym and works on his handles ad/ed he could play point in the NBA. If he locks himself in a gym and works on his shot ad/ed he could play 2 guard in NBA. But he's old as Cy said, and it would take some time to get these skills to the NBA level.

But you never know, he's certainly got an NBA body and could probably guard and post-up many 1's and 2's in the league.

It's the Hoiberg effect tbh, routinely makes Stan Podolak look like Larry Bird.

With a healthy Embiid I'd definitely take Kansas.

I've seen like fifteen minutes of Arizona basketball and I didn't really like their offense.

Field is so wide open.
 
Out of the high ranking teams, I would want to Witchita State win it but I have a feeling they'll be bounced within the first 3 rounds(real rounds, not including the stupid play-in games).
 
Florida is totally legit.
UK plays UF today in the SEC finals and though UK has finally turned the corner, it seems, behind mostly Andrew Harrison playing like a great PG... I will call a 12pt win for the gators... they're playing/toying with teams. They may get bounced, but it will be because of a poor shooting night and no other reason.

I'll be pulling for UK and expect them to play well. But I agree with your assessment, if Florida really wants to win, then they'll win.

Don't think I'll be able to watch game doe. When is tipoff?

It looks like OK St is going to probably be in the 8/9 slot. If they are in any region besides Florida's, they will make for a tough game for the top seed

I find it interesting that iowa state plays in one of, if not the, best conferences in the country and despite the fact that thier point guard is a poor shooter and ball handler...... they still managed to win the conference tourney and finished as a highly ranked team.

Also, that same point guard playing in such a tough conference ended up as the point guard chosen for the All Big 12 Team.

What gives?
