I like this idea. Some people spend time making good ones just to have someone else post a crappy one. We should change the policy on game threads so people who want to make a really good one can take time and get it up.

We should have a strike policy though if someone signs up and does not actually make one. We should also limit the number of game threads you can sign up for so everyone who wants to gets a chance.
 
Only reason I don't make game threads is because it got merged to another one that had got created 1 minute ago.
 
This is a fantastic idea. How can we expect the players to step up their game this year if the fanz don't? Let's face it, the athletes are newcomers to this party.

Maybe we need each person to submit planned pictures in advance so we can make sure none will be inappropriate. I, for one, am tired of seeing that sleazy woman in the crop-top shirt. That pic has been around for SO long. Let's get some originality.

I think we need to be real. People are not going to submit their game thread pics for approval. We need simple rules for signing up, a simple outline for the basic requirements of a game thread and an easy place for people to see what game threads are still open for a thread creator. Anything more time consuming or complicated than that and I don't see it working out.

MK11 gamethreads were the reason I signed up I just had to grab me some sweet piece of action. This is a good idea to fire the gamethread quality up. Good job Gameface.
 
So let's lay out the basics of what needs to be in a game thread.

#1 -- Opponent

#2 -- Accurate time and location

#3 -- TV coverage

#4 -- Pics related to the Jazz and their opponent

#5 -- additional info as related to this particular matchup (Jazz w/l vs this team, injury update, recent player or personal movement, related non BBall news stories, etc)

Optional, lucky girl pic. I propose that lucky girl pics be limited to 1 pic in the OP. Nothing over the line.

Special content created by the OP or other jazzfanzers is highly encouraged, like photoshopped pics, gifs, etc.

Trivia and other background info on our history with the opponent is highly encouraged.

Clean well organized layout highly encouraged.

What do you think?
 
Just like every season, I'm gonna start game threads randomly when I find out there isn't one and I have the time to do it.
