It wasn't just CJ - every time The Jazz got within 5-8 points they would do something stupid. Bad shot, bad pass, bad foul.

Favors got 17 shots last night and he should have gotten 27 - I would have PNR'ed all night.

This may be one of my biggest gripes about this team. He needs more shots. AND needs to demand more shots in-game. Be an animal, Faves.

My take on the game why CJ was playing and Gobert less minutes. I'm starting to realize that the other teams have figured out how to play against Rudy -- increase the pace of the game, and run at every opportunity. Speed neutralizes Rudy's shot blocking. Even guards are attacking Rudy with quickness and scoring on him. As a result, because of this attack approach and the small ball lineups used, Quin has countered by playing CJ because he is one of the fastest, quickest players on the team, and he does a good job on defense and gets a lot of loose balls and taps on rebounds. So far as Lyles on defense, he just needs to get stronger, which is why Booker gets minutes over him. Once he adds some strength he is going to be good on both ends of the court.

I think Dante will help Gobert when he comes back because he will be able to stop some of the penetration and scoring by PGs that we currently have no answer for.
