Yeah I thought so as well. Was strange that they didn't come out and tell media that the focus is on the draft and narrowing the field of potential head coaches is at a much more preliminary stage.
 
Jody Genessy keeps saying Boylen is the guy. That worries me. Yesterday, in the comments to his DesNews article, he basically said the search was only a formality and that it would be Boylen.

At least, that's what his sources tell him. I don't know, man...

Because maybe the FO hasn't made up its mind on who the next coach will be. Perhaps they are waiting to interview Messina to give him a fair chance. I do not doubt that several people will be interviewed. I doubt 20 though. I say the reach out to that many and interview maybe 10 or so and 2-3 are called back for a second interview.

Not sure we speak the same English. But I stated in no word that they already have decided anything. Just advised to use the stall tactic and ridicule the media claiming that they know more than the FO themselves because they're busy preparing the draft.

I dunno what's worse, keeping Ty or making a new hire with Boylen.
 
Now Messina and Blatt are going head to head in the final four. Though Blatt has the less qualified team. I'll post more info on that game later.
