Official NJ Nets Watch

Well, it's official in terms of not catching Detroit.

Sacramento had a golden chance to win and tie NJ, but they had two horrible possessiosn to finish the Memphis game. I think the Jazz are pretty much locked into the #6 seed pending the draft lottery. I won't complain, though. Last season we saw NY play great down the stretch and the lottery pick went from #5 to #9. This year, NJ won 5 straight after the trade but wasn't able to pass anyone up at the end. At various points I was worried about Milwaukee, Charlotte, Clippers and especially Detroit, but they all finished with more wins than NJ.

Sunday could be huge for whether we got a shot at #5; Sacramento at Golden State, New Jersey at Toronto. If the Kings and Raptors win, we have our tie between NJ and Sacramento... I was p.o. after NJ swept the Raptors in London; hope the Raptors have some incentive from that!!

Well, the nets will be down Deron and Humphries. So that should help Toronto.

I wish the Kings had beaten Memphis last night. Hopefully Golden State, and the rest. A tie is nice. Passing the nets is better.

Yeah, that was a tough loss by da Kings. Hopefully they rebound vs Golden State. With their youth and talented big men, Kings are gonna only get better. Next year them and Clipper Nation with Griffith and Jordan should get ahead of Golden State so we can get a better draft choice! I see no hope for Minnesota...

No way the Kings win more than once the rest the way @GS,OKC,LAL

You wouldn't think so. But if they win at GS, they might be able to win their final game, which may mean nothing for the Lakers. Chicago. on the other hand, might have motivation their last game against NJ if they're still competing for the best record in the league.

NJ plays @ Toronto, then vs. Charlotte and @ Chicago. Charlotte game is a back-to-back for both teams. Just have to hope NJ fares worse with a longer plane ride and a shorter bench.
