Official NJ Nets Watch

It's still a long shot for one of these teams to leapfrog the Jazz, but any Jazz win makes it even harder.

Whatever. If they win good for the players, if they lose good for us fans in the coming years.

Go KINGS!
I guess I'll be rooting for Sacramento to win over the Jazz if they're close to catching NJ.

Too bad about Gaines - with Williams out, that's a huge loss for the Nets. Now they have Farmar and then just Uzoh as the backup PG. Good for our pick, but hated to hear Sundiata got hurt. Tough break...literally!
Getting the #6 and #12 picks seems pretty likely, although I still think NJ has the talent to catch Detroit. The players aren't going to play hard for Kuester; they want him out. And Phoenix has been terrible of late, with a murderous schedule down the stretch. Jazz could still finish ahead of the Suns.

Boy, what a disgusting time to be a Jazz fan. I'm so deflated from everything this year that I find myself pretty much numb to the fact that they can't seem to figure out how to win.

It pains me to say this but, Go ping pong ball race!

How sad is it I am WAY more excited when the Nets lose than when the Jazz win? Anyway good to see Sacramento starting to win some games as it seems Toronto is unable to gain any ground on NJ despite all the losses!

New Jersey is officially eliminated from the playoffs with a loss today against Houston. And they're down big. Woo-hoo!

And Sacramento is making noise. A win tonight vs. Phoenix and the LA Kings of Anaheim would just be 2 back of the Brooklyn Bombers.

It was nice to see the Jazz rookies play with some fire in the 4th. At least Corbin is letting them play. Sloan would still be playing the vets 44 mins each trying to finish in 17th place instead of 19th. Hayward looks like a poor man's version of AK the way he drives wildly into the lane and loses his dribble. But he did have some moments on defense. Favors is raw, but you see the potential on both ends of the court. If he could ever develop a nasty streak...maybe that comes as he gains confidence in his game.

CJ is as consitent as ever...one good game followed by 5 bad ones.

This is what rebuilding feels like. The last time was the year we drafted D.Will. That would have worked out if we didn't over-commit to AK and bet on Okur/Boozer as being out intimidating front court.

I'm starting to think the Jazz got a steal in the trade with NJ, simply for Favors and these picks, let alone what we might get with or by trading Harris.
