What's new

***Official Ping Pong Day Thread - Tuesday - May 20th - 8 PM ET - ESPN***

I'm ready for the ping pong ball portion of the summer to be over, time to start worrying about workouts, and draft picks, and trades and coaches, and Hayward's contract.

6 hours now to lottery.
36 days to draft.
41 days until Free agency begins.
52 days until Vegas summer league.
149 days until preseason game against the lakers.

You forgot Burks and Kanter's extensions, and whether or not to bring Neto over this year, and if Tomic will be a part of a trade (Dennis Lindsey has seemed to mention his name a lot this season) as things to worry about.

This is going to be torture, huh? We're all probably too curious to not want to tune in, but for mental health sake, it might be smarter not to.

We need to be responsible about watching not just willy nilly about this.

We all know what kind of fan we are.

There are 2 fans:

1. The fan that your team does well when you watch but loses when you dont watch. You are the fan that your team has sucked all game and you get home from work turn the game on and they make a crazy comeback and win. If you are this fan you must watch this draft no matter what is going on in your life. You owe this to all of us fans and the Jazz organization.

2. The fan that his team sucks *** when they watch. You forgot to watch the game and then they upset the team they had no chance at winning. Or you finally decide you are on board with the Jazz tank just to turn on the game and Burke hits the game winner. If you are this fan I dont care how curious you are wait until the ****ing lottery event is over to check what happened. Don't even risk accidentally turning on the TV to catch the end of it.

I am fan #1 and I have to work at that time so I am planning to get sick about a half hour before so I can watch. I think ill force myself to throw up all over something so they will want me to leave.

Fans be responsible tonight, we are making the Jump up tonight.

I am historically without a doubt the 1st kind of fan, but this year, I sincerely hoped with all of my heart that we would lose, so my watching helped them lose. I have flipped the switch to winning again, so that still make me fan #1 right?

I am fan #2. Fortunately, I will be on the freeway in my way home from work when the lottery is broadcast. There's no chance of me tuning in until it's all done.

I'm #1. I was at the Orlando game. I left in the third quarter when the Jazz were up 10 or so.

I pulled in the garage when I got home, turned on the radio to see how much the Jazz lost by. The very next play was Burke hitting the three to win the game.

I'm sorry. I also watched the OT's against Minnesota. I'm so sorry.

I'm watching and gonna be on the edge of my seat. Of sweet Lord it's a fire.

This is what the **** I'm talking about. There is no time to talk about "oooooh superstitions are stuuuoopid lol!1!!"

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. Do NOT **** this up, Jazzfanz. Do everything in your ****ing ability to help us secure this pick.

I'll be at work until 1 AM, so I'm going to record the lottery and be on radio silence past 6 PM. I don't want to read some internet update on the fate of our team. Good luck tonight Jazz, hopefully it's the best type.
