LMAO, please dude. It was a very minor violation.

Yea, It doesn't seem a lot different to a player using chalk on their hands as far as the actual rule goes. I doubt he actually gained much, if any advantage either.

And if he did then it's to our advantage if he plays this week because he would be even worse than he usually is now that he can't use the stuff.

No. Just no.

Hey guys, there are rules. If you break them, there won't be any consequences though so do whatevr you want. Great ****ing logic.

There were consequences. He got a warning and won't be allowed to use it again or face a bigger punishment. Not every rule has to be enforced with a suspension or a fine.

David Locke gave an interesting update on teh Burks situation, I will paraphrase.

- Burks leg is fine. There isn't anything structurally wrong with it and the surgery was fine.

- Jazz want to make sure Burks entire body is healthy so no other injuries happen. *My take: Jazz are nervous about a repeat of Exum where he got injured then weeks later suffered a major injury*

- Locke would be surprised if Burks misses the rest of the season. Said he has been working hard and looks good.
To add to this, Locke claimed there is some advanced stuff the Jazz do that he "couldn't go into detail about." Like only a few other teams do it. He said it was a big part of having Hood be able to overcome his injuries. Basically the whole body part, something to the effect that atrophy etc. doesn't cause an injury right after they get back.

Locke also dumped pretty heavily on Burke, CJ and Booker. Basically said if they don't play we're a tonne better, made no bones about it.

When he's admitted to using it for YEARS I think more than a verbal warning is warranted.

I am more amazed at how he didn't get caught for 5 years. That's commendable.
