OFFICIAL Postseason race thread *Sticky*

Single biggest game of the year will be the home game against the Mavs on the 11th.

Will be the Mavs 3rd game in 4 days all on the road. They end the season at home against the Spurs who will be playing their C team and I can't see Mavs losing that one. We end the season at Lakers so they'll be amped to send Kobe out on top so I'd rather have things sealed up.

We get the ****ing 5th seed.

Letsgooooooooooooooo!!!!!

Uhh, you still have to factor in the Blazers record.

I hope we end up playing Golden State. We may get our butts kicked but it will be more entertaining. The Spurs just methodically beat the Jazz down and win. Either way, Go Jazz!

The Warriors would just methodically rain 3 pointers on us and make Rudy Gobert unplayable. At least with the Spurs we match-up on paper decently. Gobert has given Aldridge fits through his short career and Favors has big games vs Duncan. The only huge problem is Hayward is terrible vs Leonard, but maybe the return of Burks (crosses fingers and knocks on wood) and good play from Hood would alleviate that.

I want Utah to crush Kobe. 0-11 for 0 points and a 40 point loss. No mercy, ever.

I'd rather see Kobe have a great last game and play Utah tough, with us coming out on top. He is one of the GOAT, I don't want to see him go out with a whimper.

I agree.
Also, regardless of matchups or what has happened in the past I would rather not play the best team in the history of the nba if it can be avoided.

Mathematically we can still end up with home court advantage.

I think we could potentially steal a game against the Spurs, but not banking on it with the Warriors. Thompson/Curry would just sit on the perimeter and rain on us all day and we can't defend it. The only way we win is if they have an extremely poor shooting night between the both of them and the analytics suggest that won't happen.

Would be extremely far-fetched, but it you were somehow to climb to the 5th seed, I would put money on us to beat the Clippers.
