Rockets are on a 4 game losing streak (currently longest losing streak in NBA). During that losing streak they have given up over 110 points each game.
If the Jazz can combine these 3 poitners with the Favors/Gobert D... 5th seed is ours.
State of the race:
Suns, Nuggets, Blazers and Pelicans are injured and falling far behind the Jazz. Kings and Rockets are the main competition behind the Jazz.
Mavs and Grizz are the main comeptition ahead of the Jazz. Grizz are clearly on the decline. I thought the Mavs were over achieving but now I am not so sure. They might be the biggest Jazz hurdle to the 5th seed. The sweet spot.
Last night's recap:
HUGE, HUGE, HUGE night for the Jazz! Fantastic!
The Jazz picked up a good win over the 6th placed Grizzlies and moved into 7th! But the Mavs and Rockets also lost. Along with the Suns, Nuggets and Wolves.
The Warriors, Pelicans, Spurs and Thunder all won but none of those teams are a Jazz concern. The only non perfect thing last night was the Clips and Kings won. But that Kings W came at the Suns expenses so it has a nice silver linning.
TOnight's games:
Blazers @ Nuggets ( WIN WIN really as they are 9th and 11th)
Suns @ Lakers (Hate the Lakers now and forever. Their garbage band wagon fans as well. At some point they need to win games to damage their lottery standing)
Jazz 5th Seed Train has passed the breaking down Rockets (HAHAHAHAHA suck in cluchfans. Scum!) and the Grizz and Mavs are in sight up ahead! I see some smoke coming out of the Grizz train. Slowing down for sure!

Wouldn't it be a beautiful thing if the Lakers finished dead last in the NBA, got jumped by three teams in the lottery and then drafted a major bust? Reach for the stars, Bro.
For the record I have rejected outright any notion of tanking this season! I never stopped this bandwagon/train!!!
