Cant believe how many coaches have already been fired this season: McHale, Hollins, Blatt, Hornacek and Fisher (did I miss anyone?).
I think Karl will join that list very soon. Scott should, but the Lakers are "Corbining" him. He still has his job because losses are the goal.

Surprisingly, this number of coaches fired before the all-star break isn't even a record. I read it was 8 back in 2008-09 - at least I think that was the year; I'm too lazy to find the article again. Hornacek should get another shot soon. I read Walton could be the favorite for the NY job. Thibodeau wants the job, but has no experience with the triangle offense, whereas Luke Walton does. Knicks will finish out the season with an interim coach.Latest on Karl is that he'll be fired after the Philly game (their last one before the break).

I've been a critic of Lindsey for his inaction in terms of getting 1-2 high quality free agents. But he gets a ton of credit from me for hiring Snyder. A good coach is just like bringing in a top free agent. Quin is the right fit for the Jazz, especially Rudy and Derrick.
 
OK last night's rundown:

Kings, Lakers, Nuggets, Grizzlies (YES!!!), Wolves and Suns lost.

Thunder, Pelicans, Blazers and Clippers won.

That loss puts Utah 4 games out of 5th. 4!

Tonight's games:

Spurs @ Heat (whatever)
Jazz @ Mavs
Rockets @ Warriors

Tonight has the potential to be HUGE for the 5th Seed Bandwagon Express!!!!!

A Jazz win and a Rockets loss puts Utah in 7th with Rockets a 1/2 game behind and Blazers in 9th 1 game behind. Then the Mavs are in 6th and only 1 game ahead and the Grizz would be in 5th and only 3 1/2 games ahead!

GO JAZZ!!! CHOO CHOO fools!!!!

Probably game of the year so far. Going to Dallas has been torture for us(0 for last 10) would be a great time to exorcise those demons.

If we can beat Dallas and NO, and Memphis finds a way to lose to Brooklyn then we can be 2.5 games back of the five seed at the All-Star break!

Either way, this is better than anyone could have hoped for with all of our injuries. Five seed is a legit possibility bros. Do you understand how beatable the Clippers are? Can you imagine winning a playoff series this year? That would be HUGE for this team.
