OFFICIAL Postseason race thread *Sticky*

Burks should be back really soon, right?

I think it should go without saying but I will anyways - the Jazz NEED Burks back to get into the playoffs. It's already an uphill battle that doesn't seem likely because Portland, Houston and Dallas don't seem built to go on a 3 or 4 game slide.

We need an epic game thread for the game against Cleveland. A win against the Cavs gives this young team a 3 game win streak into the middle of the postseason run. I still like this team and their potential if they can start putting together wins like they did last year.

I think I just scored a ticket to tonight's game, row 15. Wouldn't be home till like 2-3 AM. Not sure if I am up for that anymore lol.

I'm sure someone on this site would take the ticket off your hands

Gordon Hayward out tonight. Chalk it up as a loss.

To be fair we were unlikely to win this game with Hayward. Good news is the next game is against Phoenix which we should win with or without Hayward.

But after that we have a rough stretch of road games Chicago, Mil, Houston and OKC. We might end up winning 0 of those, especially without Hayward.

If we can go .500 in our next 6 games or even win 2 of them we can make the playoffs. Schedule looks easy after that stretch. We probably go 7 out of the last 10.

From the chart it looks like Utah will get 39.8 wins and the mavs will get 38.2. lol

yep, probabilities are funny that way. the simpler way to look at it is just wins and losses, but the probability adds a bit of insight.

Hornets were down 19 at half, now down 6 at the end of the 3rd.

Pray for Marv and Batum

If the Hornets can't pull this off, this is going to be a really *****y day for our playoff aspirations.
