What's new

OFFICIAL Postseason race thread *Sticky*

I would say the one thing we can count on is that the favorites will not win every game. I see all 4 teams in play, including the Jazz, not following the predicted win and loss projections. It is going to be an interesting week.

That's what is so scary.

this will hurt if the Jazz miss out. Dang.

I had come to peace with the Jazz missing the playoffs, I had even started playing the mock lottery. Then 3 or 4 weeks ago the Jazz started winning and the playoffs were possible again. The lottery would be heartbreaking now.

I'm kind of like you, mellow. I had started to look at the mock drafts in the 10-14 range based on how Utah had been playing. Now I'm excited about making the playoffs. And even if the Jazz don't win a game, I'm hoping they battle like they did against GS and SA.

From a ksl article: We know one thing for sure: Blake Griffin is not on the plane to Salt Lake City, resting. So he's out.

And Clippers coach Doc Rivers had told the media that the plan was to rest all of his main players, like he did in the Clippers last game in Oklahoma City when Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, and J.J. Redick all rested, but the health of the Clippers' bench may change that plan.

That's because neither Austin Rivers, Wesley Johnson, or Jamal Crawford played Wednesday, the first two due to injury and the latter due to rest. If Rivers and Johnson can't play, the Clippers would likely need to play at least Redick, just so they have enough healthy wings.

Good news!

That is good news - I'll take them anyway I can at this point.

Also good to see Denver slacking off the last few games after playing well. Hope they can put them away early on Sunday.

I was just going to ask everyone if anything can be gained for Denver or lakers draft positron wise if they tank?

Would be nice to have the clips rest dudes and Denver and lakers tank.

That would leave only our superbowl game (dallas) as a really tough one and that one at home.

Close the season on a four game win streak, playing great ball for a a while now and being the healthiest we have been since the season opener.

Our opponent would have to be a little worried.

Lakers are very likely stuck at the 2nd pick (barring lottery), but Denver can end up anywhere from 7th to 11th pick.
